Reverend A. Carl Prince, M.Div.
Senior Minister

O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Psalm 95:1

Greetings in the precious and omnipotent name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. With a multiplicity of ministries to meet your needs we warmly welcome you to the Mount Hope Baptist Church website! Through our unapologetic African American vernacular, we intentionally share our faith, culture and specialized religious expressions as a people of God.

If you are new to Virginia State University or recently relocated to Fort Lee, Virginia and looking for a progressive ministry filled with power, purpose and praise, we warmly welcome you to make MHBC your place of worship in suburban Petersburg, Virginia. Join us at MHBC and become a part of our congregational ministries.
