Homegoing of Sister Rosa Crockett
We are saddened to announce the Homegoing of Sister Rosa Crockett at MHBC. Ms. Crockett will be eulogized at MHBC on Friday at 1:00 p.m.
May God grant peace to her ashes and rest to her spirit.
Men's Day 2010 @ MHBC
We are honored to announce that on Sunday September 12, 2010 @ 11:00 a.m. the men of Mount Hope Baptist will celebrate Men's Day. Dr. Winston Odom, Superintendent of Hopewell Public Schools will serve as our Men's Day speaker.
In addition to the Men's Day service, Hope Awards will be presented to Dr. Odom, Kenneth Harris, former Petersburg High School and Chicago Bulls Basketball standout and Duron Paige, Physician's Assistant at MCV Health Systems for their iconic excellence in leadership and for inspiring hope for humanity.

The Honorable Rev. Dr. Torian is a native of Roxboro, North Carolina and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Winston-Salem State University. Dr. Torian receieved his Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree from the School of Theology at Virginia Union University and his Doctor of Ministry Degree (D.Min.) from Howard University School of Divinity in Washington, DC.
