Reverend A. Carl Prince, M.Div.
Welcome to the biography page for our esteemed pastor, Reverend A. Carl Prince. Pastor Prince is a second generation Baptist Minister and is married to Princess W. Prince. Pastor Prince is a graduate of the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia where he received the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree.
An international theological thinker, Pastor Prince is also Oxford educated. Pastor Prince completed postgraduate theological studies at the prestigious University of Oxford in Oxford, England where he engaged in scholarly discourse with some of the world's preeminent scholars in philosophy and religion.
In addition to his Oxford matriculation, Pastor Prince is a Doctor of Ministry, (D.Min.) candidate. His doctoral thesis is entitled, "Beyond Social Irrelevancy, Reclaiming the Young Adult Generation, Age 18-30 to the Church, our Theological, Ecclesiological and Existential Imperative."
Pastor Prince is published. His preaching article entitled, "Preaching and the Distinctive of Black Preaching can be found online and his sermon on the Afrocentric significance of the 44th US Presidential Inauguration of Barack Hussein Obama can accessed through the US Library of Congress.
As a history maker in the State of Virginia, Pastor Prince is the first African-American Baptist Minister to serve on the Richmond City Council in Richmond, Virginia.
